ST. PETERSBURG TO HOST BIG BUSINESS FESTIVAL

On June 15-17, Petrovsky Arsenal in St. Petersburgs Kurortny District will play host to the Big Business Fun Festival (BBFF), where the leading Russian and international speakers and business gurus will converge to share their priceless experience, drill down on business cases, and divulge the secrets of corporate cuisine.

ExpoForum CEO Sergey Voronkov will serve as speaker in the “Marketing” section. Sergey Georgievich will discuss the impact of exhibitions on boosting sales and a company’s image.

The unique format of the business festival encompasses a packed programme spread across six stages and four training halls. The festival will feature more than 65 hours of lectures and trainings from Russia’s leading business-coaches – roughly 40 experts in all. These include the famed marketing expert Igor Mann, retail specialist Dmitry Potapenko, entrepreneur Pavel Timets, and others. The festival headliner will be Jordan Belfort, author of The Wolf of Wall Street and the prototype for Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in the film of the same name. Belfort is currently the highest-earning business-coach in the world.

Aside from trainings and lectures, BBFF guests will be treated to a round of the intellectual gameshow What? Where? When? in the company of Alexander Drouz himself, a mini-golf competition, musical performances and stand-up comedy. The dozens of restaurants and bars operating during the forum will complete the Petrovsky Arsenal space – the food-court is being organised by the prestigious Where to eat! award.

At the end of the third day, after the 8-hour training by Jordan Belfort on June 17, the festival’s big screens will broadcast the opening match of the Confederations Cup: “Russia – New Zealand.”

SMELT CELEBRATION IN ST. PETERSBURG

On May 1314, the Lenexpo Exhibition Complex was the scene of the 15th Smelt Celebration festival, attended by more than 15,500 visitors. Chefs from St. Petersburgs finest restaurants prepared smelt on outdoor grills and made general ukha according to a recipe by Alexander Menshikov.
