The summit is the key and the most large-scale event in the Russia-Africa relationships. It is aimed at achieving a whole new level of mutually beneficial partnership that respond to the challenges of the 21st century. The purpose of the event is to promote strengthening of the overall and equal cooperation of Russia with the African countries in all of its aspects: politics, security, economy, the scientific and technical area and in culture, arts and humanities.
