BEAUTY INDUSTRY GURUS MEETING UP IN SAINT PETERSBURG

The INTERCHARM Professional Saint Petersburg International Beauty Exhibition has opened in the Convention and Exhibition Centre ExpoForum. Participants of the Exhibition will share their unique expertise and demonstrate newest breakthroughs in cosmetology, dermatology, trichology, aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery and other related fields.
Booths of more than 90 companies from Germany, Greece, Spain, Korea, Latvia, Russia, Taiwan and France will showcase the latest developments in the domain of medicinal cosmetics, skin care, machine and laser cosmetology as well as uniforms, supplies, furniture for clinics and salons as well as tools and aids for eyebrow shaping, hair removal, permanent make-up, injections, thread lifting and exfoliation.
“Domestic companies occupy a substantial niche both at the Exhibition and on the market. This year, our Exhibitions features a new RosBrendPRO section dedicated to the Russian made cosmetic products,” Anna Dycheva-Smirnova, CEO of Reed Exhibitions Russia, the company-organizer of the INTERCHARM projects, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Perfume and Cosmetics Association, said. Novakom—a distributor of ingredients for professional beauty products, waxes, cosmetic foundations and premium class serums; Protein Contour, presenting its anti-aging beauty products with epidermal growth factor; the GRAND-Cryo Group of Companies manufacturing state-of-the-art medical cryotherapy equipment conforming to international standards of quality and safety are displaying their products in the RosBrendPRO section.
The “Anti-aging Cosmetology Today” Cosmetology and Dermatology Congress, which admits holders of the Exhibition tickets at no fee is being held on the side-lines of the Exhibition. “Cosmetic Procedures for Aging Skin,” where participants discuss anti-aging cosmetic products, equipment and injection techniques, was chosen as the topic of the first day of the Congress. The second day of the program, February 10, will be dedicated to “Aesthetic Medicine Approaches to the Correction and Treatment of Skin Pathologies.” Speakers will focus on the correction of aesthetic defects and treatment of skin diseases. On the final day of the Congress, February 11, participants will discuss critical for beauticians legal, bioscience and clinical practice issues. Among the experts participating in the Congress were Danne M King, the American scientist, biochemist, founder of DMK (Danne) professional cosmeceuticals company and a founding father of the Skin Revision Treatments line, Denis Zaslavsky, Chief Dermatovenerologist and Cosmetologist of the Russian Ministry of Health in the Northwest Federal District, Alexander Turkevich, Dermatovenerologist, Oncologist, Professor of Dermatovenerology of the Marconi University of Rome.
The Conference “Strategies for Success 2017,” where directors of beauty industry enterprises discussed legal issues as well as such topics as HR, services and equipment for beauty salons turned out to be one of the most anticipated events.
The topic of aromatherapy was given special attention. Two Exhibition’s events, the “Professional Aromatherapy” signature course and “Innovations in the Professional Aromatherapy 2017,” were dedicated to it. The INTERCHARM’s hallmark, a series of workshops offered by booths attendants, allowed visitors to not only learn about newest beauty products and trends, but also see their real life application.
