The best karate fighters from 10 countries to perform at EXPOFORUM
On September 9 and 10, the traditional international karate tournament “St. Petersburg Autumn” takes place at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Centre.
More than 2,000 athletes from 10 countries are competing. Competitions are held on 2 programs (kata and kumite) in different age and weight categories.
Kata is the fight with an invisible opponent. Here the athlete enters the tatami alone and demonstrates elements in the strictly defined order. Kumite is the fight with a real opponent. Both programs assume individual and team competitions.
Free shuttle buses run from Moskovskaya metro station to EXPOFORUM every 20 minutes during the competitions.
